Q: What is Twestival 2009?
A: Twestival is a world-wide event held
on Feb. 12 each year. It started in the U.K. and other cities across
the globe last year and was organized in less than two weeks. The
power of social media makes that possible. Twestival is like a
"tweet-up" of local Twitter users and others in the online
community, but it's much bigger and supports a social cause. (If

Q: What charity does it support?
A: 100% of the proceeds from
these events world-wide supports the charity called charity:water.
Charity:water is a charity that brings clean, safe drinking water to

Q: Where will this event be held locally and when?
A: It will
be held on Feb. 12, when all cities across the world are holding the
same event.

Time: 7pm Thursday
Feb. 12. Perfect for the after-work crowd and anyone who wants to

Donation: $11.40 if you purchase tickets online in
advance, or $14 at the door.
Includes: Free beer, 1 "water
offset" and delicious food from a local Chef. Entertainment
including a fun Video Booth to share your message with Raleigh and
