On
Thursday February 12 2009, more
than 175 cities around the world will be hosting
Twestivals which bring together Twitter communities for an
evening of fun and to raise money and awareness for charity: water.
This will be the first Twestival to be held in
Melbourne. Our location is the unqiue audio visual
surrounds of Horse Bazaar (on Little Lonsdale Street), from 6pm.
A $5 donation to charity: water is required to attend, but
you are encouraged to make any further donations you feel you
can. Entry will allow you free drinks (kindly
provided by Zendesk) and a chance to meet other
members of the Twitter community in Melbourne, all for a good
cause.
The Twestival is organized 100% by
volunteers in cities around the world and 100%
of the money raised from these events will go
directly to support charity: water projects.
