On 12
February 2009 180+ cities
around the world will be hosting Twestivals which bring
together Twitter communities for an evening of fun and to
raise money and awareness for charity: water. All
attendees to purchase their tickets here, or via the
organisers, Uthango Social Investments, at the door from 17:00
onwards please.

donation to charity: water is required to attend the
event. There will be a few surprises on the
evening with lucky draws from generous
sponsors. Please bring your own money if you wish to
dine at limited tables at Doppio Zero - they will
contribute towards some wine and snacks at the
onset of the event.
Cape
Town joined fairly late in the process - a few days ago - but
we can make this happen! Volunteers in Cape Town jumped in to
organise a venue and some prizes to assist charity : water to
achieve its ambitious goal of raising 500 000 USD and
awareness. Please help and buy a ticket in support of this
great cause - assisting people to get clean water... If we
sell all our Cape Twestival tickets, we would have funded a
well in a rural part of the world where people do not have
clean and safe water. It changes lives.
The
Twestival is organized 100% by volunteers in cities around
the world and 100% of the money raised from these events
will go directly to support charity: water projects. Your
ticket purchase here will be transferred directly to the bank
account of the registered charity.
