Sydney Twestival 09 will be held on Thursday 12th February
from 7.30pm at the Australian Centre for Photography in
Paddington. Twestival gives Sydney Twitter users an
exciting opportunity to meet offline and raise money for charity.
Sydney Twestival will feature live music, food / drinks and
an exhibition of photographic works beautifully set in a
fantastic gallery space . Attendees are encouraged to bring their
PDAs and laptops so they can live-tweet during the event. An
internet wireless connection will be available.
We have a fantastic line-up of artists giving up their time

Twestival Sydney will be part of the first ever global
"tweet-up". Twestivals are also being held in over 175
cities across 6 continents, and fittingly will contribute to a
global non-profit organization. Charity: Water, which works in
Africa, Asia and South America, helps to provide access to safe,
clean water to some of the more than 1.1 billion people worldwide
who lack access to clean drinking water.
Official Twestival events are being held around the world in
Johannesburg, Auckland, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Copenhagen,
London, Dubai, New York, Los Angeles, Santiago and Buenos
Aires . Closer to home, Melbourne, Adelaide and

We are asking for a donation of $15 at the door,
and proceeds go to Charity: Water. There will also be a raffle of
prizes donated generously by sponsors and the Twitter community.
