An informal and essential workshop offering practical advice for
journalists, bloggers and brand managers on:
- writing enticing blog titles
- crafting headlines that people will want to share
- getting your tweets retweeted
- social media dos and don'ts
- the importance of timing
- what words work on Facebook and other platforms
- avoiding typos and double entendres.
Run by Christine Cawthorne and Sue Keogh, both BBC trained
content producers with extensive experience of producing homepage
content for Yahoo! and AOL UK.
Christine lectures in Online Journalism for Sheffield University
and runs Crocstar Media, producing web content for global
corporations and advising small businesses on their social media campaigns.
Sue Keogh's presentation at last year's Social Media Marketing
conference, Tweets That Travel: How To Write Viral Copy went down a
storm, and she currently produces the website content and social
media campaigns for Coronation Street: The Album and the Toshiba
viral video competition We Love Stories.
