The
Fourth
Annual London Bicycle Film Festival (LBFF)
rolls into the Barbican this October - an itinerant
carnival of films, music, seminars and events that brings together
many diverse aspects of cycling life and culture from around the
globe. As part of the LBFF's celebration of the numerous ways the
beautiful machine is able to transport us; through the city, the
mountains and beyond we present the LBFF Rollapaluza
City Heats to
find out who is the fastest man, woman and team in the city!
Two cyclists
sprint it out side by side on a set of rollers hooked up to
big dial whose hands show the progress of the racers as they
cover the (simulated) distance.
Cyclists can
be riding for themselves or their teams or both. Distances
and times will be recorded and the fastest will be found.
The fastest
riders will qualify to ride in the finals of the LBFF
Rollapaluza– to pedal it out against the finest
spinners from across the city and beyond.
To ride in
the heats you must book a time slot to ride on the registration
page and turn up at the Barbican Free Stage 10 minutes in
advance of your allocated time.
