FOXE'S REUNION 2010 IS HERE...You will all gather by now that Foxe's
Reunion for 2010 is under way. The Chosen Venue is The Halo in Leeds
(And what a venue that is). Reasons were many for the venue,
capacity, music and beverage licence, fire regulations, PL
insurance, ticketing, Food, the list is endless and not neccesarily in
that order. So to choose the right venue was paramount. Naturally, the
original mexborough arms (Foxe's) was out of the question as
weatherspoons do not allow music as part of their company policy.
Nevertheless the inside of the original foxes is no longer, and we all
knew that a reunion at the original foxe's was not going to happen so
we have to settle for a good substitute. Foxe's was all about the
music and the atmosphere of the people who used to attend those
magical nights, and i was one of them. So, the event will be an
important and nostalgic night bringing together people and old
friends we once knew back together again. We will endevour to bring
back as many of the orginal people that worked at foxe's, but no real
promises there?
The music was everything at foxes, and the reunion night will be
no exception creating those magical years we all once knew.
Photographers will be on hand to photograph you as you arrive on the
red carpet and you will be greeted as a special VIP guest with a
welcome drink, and later finger food throughout the night and then on
to the festivities of the Foxe's era... if you have just tuned in the
release date of the venue is the Halo on the 12th May 2010.
I am from Leeds, and have been in the entertainment business for many
years now, and my company RMG has finally decided some time ago due to
popular demand to organise the long awaited Foxes Reunion 2010. Foxes
was probably the most famous nightclub in the 80's and 90's ending in
1998, and was a very special scene and place for many people from
all over Yorkshire and in some cases
beyond came to this legendary club.
yes, i have been there on other nights too.. it was a great
place... but now we will all get to meet old friends and flames..lol
and the music that made it all worth while..plus it will be a great
atmosphere as everybody attending the Ticket Only
Event will be treated as VIP's. So spread the word...
