transmediale 2013 + CTM.13 Professional Accreditation

From January 28 to February 3, 2013, the transmediale and CTM festivals jointly offer one of the world's most pertinent, adventurous, and comprehensive review of the way new technologies and digital culture are shaping our lives.

transmediale 2013 BWPWAP (the acronym for Back When Pluto Was A Planet) will explore the simultaneous displacement and invention that takes place in cultural processes mediated by technology.

Entitled The Golden Age, CTM.13 reflects on the (over-)abundance of music in the modern world and its consequences for individuals, aesthetics, politics and the economy.

You may apply for transmediale 2013 + CTM.13 Professional Accreditation from October 22, 2012 until January 15, 2013.

transmediale 2013 + CTM.13 reserve the right to evaluate the applications and also to deny your request. Following approval you will receive a confirmation email. Please note that accreditations must be payed for online via amiando before they may be picked up at the info counters (locations and opening hours will be announced by mid-december via both festival websites).

The transmediale 2013 + CTM.13 Professional Accreditation grants access for one person to all transmediale 2013 and most CTM.13 events (except the concerts at HAU 1). As some festival locations have a limited capacity, access can not be guaranteed. We suggest you arrive on time to avoid disappointment.

When you purchase the transmediale 2013 + CTM.13 Professional Accreditation you will receive special offers which include: guided tours and talks with a curator or artist at HKW and Kunstraum Kreuzberg, a free copy of both the CTM.13 and transmediale program catalogues, and a free CTM.13 bag. Further offers/gifts will be mentioned via email after your application is approved.
 

The pre-sale printout itself does not grant admission to the festivals. It must be exchanged for a transmediale 2013 + CTM.13 Professional Accreditation at one of the transmediale or CTM ticket counters:

The transmediale 2013 + CTM.13 Professional Accreditation can be picked-up by the authorised ticket-holder only, and cannot be passed-on to others. Please bring ID with you at time of pick-up (ID card, passport, driver’s license). Access to festival venues can only be granted with the transmediale 2013 + CTM.13 Professional Accreditation or any other valid ticket. Lost Passes may be replaced upon presentation of proper identification, but will not be refunded. As some festival locations have a limited capacity, access can not be guaranteed. We suggest you arrive on time to avoid disappointment.

Holders of transmediale 2013 + CTM.13 Professional Accreditation understand that they may potentially have their photos taken during their festival visit, and authorize transmediale and CTM to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute these photos for purposes of publicising the festivals.

The fee for accreditation is 100 EUR (incl. 7% VAT) excl. handling charges.
