    Topic:  Mobile connected people

Mobile Monday Switzerland workshop at Lift10 will bring mobility at the heart of the Lift10 conference addressing  1000 participants from 40 countries. This year's topic "Connected People"   explores the key aspect of innovation: people. Known as end-users, consumers, clients, participants, prosumers, citizens or activists, people ultimately define the success of all technological and entrepreneurial projects. They adopt or refute, promote or demote; embrace, reject, or re-purpose. Their approaches are unique, influenced by cultural and generational diversity.  With the ubiquity of mobile phone around the world and the explosion of  application stores, smart-phones , it's time to explore the myths and uncover the reality behind the "mobile connected people". We will discuss the following and other mobile topics :.

    Format for this workshop :

Short presentations by some excellent  MoMo speakers worldwide will be followed by panel with  other Lift10  presenters.

    • Communities : Web 2.0 celebrated the so-called “amateur revolution” and triggered the “Mobile Web“. What did we learn in the past 5 years? How is the the mobile Web progressing and what are social / technical challenges ahead?
    • Old new media : Newspapers are struggling, TV is not sure of what the future holds, Music consumption has moved away from the major record companies. What is the role of mobile media and entertainment in this new media space and how will mobile engage people?
    • Evolution of privacy :  what is privacy in the 21st Century? Is personal security threatened by the massive collection of data? How much will people share location, phone contacts and real-time messages.
