The contents of this Privacy Policy apply to both participants and event organizers. Any distinctions in the handling of data will be indicated separately.
1. Gathering, processing und usage of personal data
Essentially, you can visit amiando’s websites and their ticket shops without leaving any personal data behind.
Personal data will only be used if you actively provide it (e.g. when using our website’s services, such as ticket purchasing or registration forms for events, sending a message via our website or registering as a user on our websites). Beyond such cases, no personal data will be gathered.
Usage of personal data via amiando (e.g. for the sending of a newsletter) is only possible as long as the user has explicitly approved of it. This approval can be revoked at any time by visiting “My Account” or by sending us a corresponding message.
If the “CO2- Compensation” option is selected with the purchase of a ticket, the attendee will receive a certificate from ClimatePartner (www.climatepartner.de) with the attendee’s name and the name of the event. The attendee’s name and the event’s title will be sent in this case only to ClimatePartner. If this option is not selected, no user data will be sent to ClimatePartner.
Attendee Data
The attendee data gathered for an event (e.g. during a ticket purchase or event registration) will be accessible to the event organizer. This is necessary for the performance of a contract (e.g. for managing the entry at an event). The event host can determine whether certain participant data are displayed on a publicly accessible attendee list. As an attendee, you are able to remove your details from the attendee list or to contact the event organizer and amiando with regard to this matter.
2. Use of the Facebook-Like-Button
On the amiando website plug-ins of the social network Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, are integrated. On our website, you find the so called “like-button” in form of a “thumbs-up”-icon. If you are looking for further information on the functionality of the Facebook-like-button you can find it here. During your visit of the amiando website your IP address is transferred to Facebook because of a direct connection between the browser and the facebook server. amiando does not receive any information on the content of the transferred data.
Only by clicking the like-button the visit on the website can be assigned to the data released in a Facebook profile. Thus Facebook can assign the visit on the amiando websites to the Facebook user account. 3. Use of Google Analytics
