Well we had a fantastic night on
the 10th, but you can still give to ChildLine here now. If you
couldn't make it on the night, or perhaps you drank your weight in
free beer and want to show your support. Whatever your reason,
please give generously to ChildLine via the options above - you can
use as many multiples as you like.
------***Tickets will be on sale
right up until the event, but if you're purchasing after
12pm midday on 10th September, please ensure you bring a
printed ticket with you, as your name won't appear on our
guestlist on the door***
Nab your
ticket for Twestival Local London! Join 1200 others coming
together to have fun and raise money for ChildLine London.
Every
single penny of the money you spend on tickets to Twestival
Local London goes directly to funding ChildLine's work
answering calls from distressed children in London.
Payment for
tickets is by credit card or Paypal and the very generous Amiando is
waiving all fees for all Twestival events so that we can give more
to charity. If you have any difficulties with buying tickets, please

Twestival is a series of
tweet-ups with a social conscience. The events are organised
twice a year to bring together London’s vibrant digital media
community, giving those who are normally communicating through
Twitter the opportunity to meet each other face-to-face and build on
the relationships they have made online and to raise money for
charity.
Twestival Local Londonstarted
with a bang! The process to select a local charity to support
resulted in 23 nominations, with 4050 Twitterers voting and
nearly 7000 views of the voting page within five days. As well
as a huge buzz, John Cleese tweeted about it, adding fuel to the frenzy.
ChildLine,
the free 24-hour phone counselling service for children, run by the
NSPCC, is the charity
we’re supporting. We’ll be fundraising and a launching a
drive to help them recruit more volunteers to staff their phone line
and new online advice service launching soon.
