  • About

The Highland Twitter community really had no biggie in deciding which charity was deserving of the efforts of the Local Twestival Team. Highland Hospice, although Inverness based, provides services to those in need of palliative care in an area spanning 10,000 square miles. YES -  10,000 square miles.

We are 100% confident when we say that at some point in their lives, most Highlanders will have known, or at least know of,  families that have experienced and appreciated  the care services that are on offer from this organisation. Furthermore, we would make the point that  none of us know what's around that 'corner' - hence have no shame in blatantly asking for the support of complete strangers!

It is as simple as this - in order to carry out the invaluable services that are being provided to many, many deserving people - the Highland Hospice needs to take in £ 42,000 per week.  We urge you to give what you can to help - even buying a couple of raffle tickets makes a difference!

Three words apply here: Tweet. Meet. Give.
