Event Description:
Brands, media, and consumers used to have distinct roles in the
marketing relationship. Now, those roles overlap, creating new
opportunities and expectations. In today’s environment of
instant connectivity through social networking sites, brands must
learn to connect in real time — or get left behind. They must
think like publishers, where timely dialogue is attuned to
consumers’ current needs and useful content is king. This
session will explore the shifting roles of brands, media and consumers
in a real-time world and how brands will need to reinvent themselves
to remain relevant.
