The theme of SMWHK 2011 is "For Love or Money?". So at
this free public
event, show some love and celebrate everyone and
everything you're grateful
for! No script, no guest speakers,
nothing formal - simply chat to as many
people as possible (even
total strangers) to share what you're grateful for
and/or what it
is about them that you appreciate. Laughter, dancing and
hugging
welcome. Bring your friends! We'll finish the live event at 6.45pm
with everybody jumping up, raising their arms and shouting loudly
together:
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" (in
whatever language they want).
Any time on February 12, people in Hong Kong and around the world
are encouraged
to tweet (using the hashtag #gratitudehk) and post
Facebook messages about
what they're grateful for; to upload
photos and videos of the live event,
and to reach out to someone
online (publicly or privately) to express what
they're grateful
for about them.
Language: Participants are welcome to speak whatever language they
want: English, Cantonese, Putonghua...
Price: Free.
