About this seminar
Participants attending this seminar will develop a working knowledge of the legal background and relevant changes brought about by the new PRC Labour Contract Law, as well as the key legal terms to be considered in labour contracts and employment handbooks. The seminar will equip the participants to effectively monitor the management of labour contracts in their companies, to detect problematic clauses in existing contracts and to manage the legal risks arising therefrom. The Speaker
Ms. Rademacher is chief representative and partner of the Beijing office of the international law firm BEITEN BURKHARDT. She has studied law and Chinese in Germany, Switzerland and China, is admitted to the bar in Cologne/Germany and a registered foreign lawyer in China. Ms. Rademacher is resident in China for over seven years and has worked in the firm's Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing offices. Her clients comprises advice medium and multinational enterprises whom she advises on foreign direct investment, general corporate law, environmental/energy and labour law. Ms. Rademacher has published many articles and essays in her specialized fields and given numerous lectures on important legal matters in and outside China.
