From DUBLIN:
Take
N3 to Cavan. At roundabout on approaching Cavan take by-pass, signed
Ballyshannon and Monaghan. Leave by-pass to the right at second
junction and follow signs to Ballyhaise, then see next paragraph.
From
NORTH DUBLIN, DUBLIN PORT and AIRPORT:
M1 north, turn off onto N33 for Ardee, then N2 north to
Carrickmacross. On leaving Carrick turn left for Ballybay and left
in Ballybay main street, signed Clones. In Newbliss take third turn
on right signed Scotshouse. In 5 miles or so, fork right for Clones
at T junction (Bell's Cross), and Hilton is next entry on the left
after the Clones Golf Club in half a mile. Journey time approx. 1
hour 45 minutes from start of M1.
All
other routes from SOUTH and WEST:
Head for Cavan and leave the town on N54 Clones road, but but
after a half-mile fork Right at Statoil petrol station for
Ballyhaise. Go through Ballyhaise and Scotshouse, heading for Clones
and in about 2 miles we are the next entry on the LEFT after the
Clones Golf Club.
From
BELFAST, THE NORTH and DONEGAL:
Head for Clones. Turn off the N54 Clones-Cavan road in the
Diamond in Clones signed Scotshouse. Drive straight past the Lennard
Arms Hotel leaving it on your left. Our gates are on the right, in 3
miles, on a bad bend at bottom of a hill. You are advised to
continue past the gates to the next corner, where you can turn
around with ample visibility and return 100 yards to the gates.
