  • Integrating Text Messaging into Websites, Apps, and Other Software

With 4.1 billion texts sent everyday in the US and 6.1 trillion sent annually worldwide, text messaging is the most ubiquitous and direct mobile medium.  Despite its growing popularity, taking advantage of text messaging as a mobile channel has thus far been difficult due to high cost and technical complexity.  This workshop covers how to use the XML-based markup language CMRL, the Concise Message Routing Language, to develop text messaging services for websites, mobile apps, and other software.
