Being-Local ‘10 is a half-day workshop and case study session
that will showcase advancements in local services and provide
organisations delivering or developing ‘local’ services
(advertising agencies, Media, TV, News, local & central
government, web businesses, directories, local businesses and local
services) with a framework for developing them.
The event will run from 2pm til 6pm on the afternoon of the 6th July
and be followed by a networking drinks reception.
The business models, proposition and content that underpin
“Local” as a value-added service has changed. Join 100
others, who are leading the charge into this new an uncharted
development, for an afternoon workshop focused on: what’s
changing, what’s new and what’s possible. With senior
representatives from local media, news, directories, government
organisations, communities and businesses; Being-Local will provide a
unique opportunity to learn and share with others active in the broad sector.
The workshop will have two sessions both packed with case studies and
aim to enlighten how social media and local are combining to create a
wave of new services or enhancing existing services.
