The British rock band Swans in Flight, have
announced that they are to play a 7 date UK tour this September
with a line-up that will include acclaimed US
rock musicians, TM Stevens and Marco
Mendoza.
The band’s debut, self-titled album attracted some 13 name
guest players from band’s such as Megadeth, Billy Idol Band and
Jethro Tull, but now this tour continues to underscore Swans In
Flight’s ability to ‘pull’ the names.
TM Stevens, the king of Metal Funk, is renowned for
his work with James Brown, Miles Davis, Tina Turner, Steve Vai, The
Pretenders and Joe Cocker.
Marco Mendoza, on the other hand, is one of the
biggest names in rock music, working with the likes of Ted Nugent,
Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake and John Sykes. “It promises to be show
like no other” , says concert promoter, Rob Norton of Hostile
Live. “We are thrilled and excited to stage this, ‘US
meets British/cross Atlantic’ line-up which was first aired so
successfully at the Birmingham NEC ‘Music Live’ show in
November of last year”, states Norton.
