Matt Alder – ‘Real
World Social Recruiting’
Matt will present an overview of
how social media is being used round the world for recruitment.
Social Recruiting is now being used as a very broad term the
definition of which seems to covers a number of different
recruitment and talent attraction activities. Some of these are
genuinely social while some are just using social channels for
marketing and distribution of job content. Matt will take an
independent look at how the market is shaping up, help identify
current patterns and look to explain how things might develop in the future.
Rebecca Folb - ‘Raising the
bar in Recruitment through Social Recruiting’
Over the last 10 months Nokia has
been transitioning from Recruitment 1.0 to Recruitment 3.0 in order
the maximise their recruitment efforts globally. With the
competition for top talent as fierce as ever, a global social
recruiting strategy has been incorporated into Nokia’s
recruitment process. Rebecca will discuss how, by adopting
social recruiting, Nokia are transforming the way they source
candidates, build talent communities globally for active and passive
candidates and reach hard to find/high calibre talent.
Companies are being talked about all over the web, we no longer have
full control but we can join the conversation. Being able to drive
consistent messages to your community and letting your employees
personalise your business online is key.
Lucian Tarnowski -
‘Building professional Talent Communities and moving from
transactional recruitment to relationship based recruitment’
Lucian will talk about how he sees
the recruitment industry changing around the new tools that are now
available to engage, filter, train and recruit candidates in advance
of the job application. He will share some case studies from
BraveNewTalent’s client base. He will share his
excitement around the pace of change that is coming to the way we
work and the way we discover talent. Lucian will also touch on
Gen Y issues and how social media can be leveraged to bridge the
disconnection between employer
and candidate.
After the speaker's
presentations there will be a question panel.
