Understanding how colour works in a digital environment enables you
to understand the rules, parameters and limits of the medium. The
course covers all the stages: from colour management during image
capture in your camera and/or scanning from analogue media, through to
editing in Photoshop, monitor calibrations and profiling an image for
a fine art print. The course aims to empower you to get the maximum

Tutor Biography
Hugh lectured as the assistant lecturer in Digital and Evolving
Technologies at IADT between 2001 to 2008. He also founded the digital
imaging program at the Gallery of Photography in 2000. Hugh runs
workshops and provides customised training solutions for digital
imaging practitioners.
