Welcome to Dundee Twestival's ticket page!
On
Thursday 25 March 2010
, people in hundreds of cities
worldwide will come together offline for
Twestival
.
This means that they
will have fun, while raising funds for the education
programmes of this year's chosen charity,
Concern Worldwide
. Twestivals come to life
via the social media tool,
Twitter
and are coordinated by 100%
volunteer teams. 100% of the funds raised will help sustain the
charity's education programmes. All of Dundee's donations will go
towards Concern's projects to build schools.
We're running two events so we
thought we'd provide a breakdown of what is currently set in
stone. Anything that is TBC will be updated in the next 2 or so weeks.
Firstly the daytime event at
The Hannah Maclure Centre -
Abertay Student Centre, Bell Street
TALKS
1200-1230 Brian Baglow
1230-1300 Fraser MacLean - Basics of Observational Drawing
1300-1400 Fraser MacLean - Character Design for Animation

Sensation Dundee - Make your own DNA Bracelets and Genes in a Bottle
There will be a variety of
talks and interactive workshops being run throughout the day
that will
hopefully
appeal to a wide
audience. We'll confirm these as we finalise the details.
Andrew Macdonald will
also be around during the day doing speed drawings
for donations to Concern. He will also be donating a
portrait of one lucky raffle winner.
You can view Andy's
work on the Dundee Twestival Page
From 7PM onwards we will be based at
Dexter's Lounge Bar, 24 Castle Street
Where we will be having a gig with
