On Thursday 25 March 2010, people in hundreds of cities around
the world will come together offline to rally around the important
cause of Education by hosting local events to have fun and create
awareness. Twestival™ (or Twitter Festival) uses
social media for social good. All of the local events are
organized 100% by volunteers and 100% of all ticket sales and
donations go direct to projects.
Bury St Edmunds Twestival is going to be a fabulous gathering of
local twitterati coming together in the delightful surrounds of Bury
St Edmunds Art Gallery. We’ll be sipping pleasant beverages
whilst admiring the fabulous work of artist Mark Fairnington which
includes four (three!) life size paintings of Bulls! http://www.burystedmundsartgallery.org/
In the midst of this we will have a Social Media Masterclass from one
of the Who’s Who of notable Britons 2009:
