The International Student Welcome Receptions are an ideal opportunity to meet new international students and start to develop social networks. You will listen to a welcome presentation from a senior member of university staff and will then have a chance to enjoy a non-alcoholic beverage and mingle with other attendees.
Dress will be semi-formal, i.e. sports wear and jeans are best not worn, but suits are unnecessary.
All the receptions will take place in Cafe Aroma which is located in Staff House on the main campus. The campus map reference for this is R24.
If you have any queries about the events please email internationalwelcome@contacts.bham.ac.uk. When attending the events please print and bring your booking confirmation as proof that you have reserved your place. Although you may chose to, you do not need to attend more than one reception.
To reserve you a place for this event, the University needs to collect data from you. The information will be retained for 3 months.
