Music Makers – open stage

This event is for singers, musicians, poets or songwriters out there who would like to share their talents (or their lack of talents!) with others over a coffee or glass of wine. It’s a night for people who want to build up their experience playing in a group.

It’s a great opportunity for people who are just learning instruments or branching out into different styles of playing, so the pace is pretty slow and relaxed.

So if you have something you would like to try out, please sign up and come along. Music and songs of any kind are welcome, while some people prefer to read aloud their favourite poem, or one they have written. Anyone can have a go if they want to (just please keep it to a fairly short piece!) And of course anyone who would just like to come along to watch or sing along in the background is also very welcome!
 
If any sub-groups or side-projects emerge then all the better! Some members have already organised charity concerts, sub-groups and recordings.
