This year, Manchester
Twestival is supporting Wood Street Mission
whose aim is to alleviate the effects of poverty on children in
families in Manchester and Salford. Learn more
about Wood Street Mission and why we're supporting them.
This is a great opportunity to meet people you've already been
tweeting and find new people to follow, as well as raising money for
a great, local cause. People coming will be a mix of ordinary
tweeters, digital and creative types and everyone else!
Doors will open at 6.30 pm and go on til late. We'll have
readings from award-winning local bloggers, a charity auction for
some unique prizes and a DJ so you can dance the night away.
Venue
This year, Twestival is being held in the unique stylings of
NoHo, an independent bar that is set in a truly one-of-a-kind
space in the heart of the Northern Quarter. The Grade II listed
building has stunning floor to ceiling windows, original parquet
flooring and has kept its height for an 'open feel'.
