For 12 years Hugh Turvey has been working with x-ray to produce
amazing and insightful constructed contemporary images...exposing
the inner world of familiar and unfamiliar spaces. The exhibition
is free and open to the public from 4-22 November 2009, 11am-6pm.

About The Artist:
Hugh Turvey is recognised internationally for his x-ray works and
as one of the worlds’ few contemporary x-ray photographic artists.
Bio:
London photographer and artist. Hugh Turvey originally trained as a
designer / art director but later discovered photography and retrained
under Gered Mankowitz. In 1997 he started experimenting with
x-ray/shadow photography after being asked to create an album cover.
With the help of Science Photo Library he went on to produce an
extensive series of coloured x-rays of everyday objects, which were
first published on the 4 April 1999 in The Observer Magazine, LIFE,
U.K. Hugh Turvey is now recognised internationally for his x-ray works
and as one of the worlds’ few contemporary x-ray artists. He
continues to experiment with the new immerging x-ray technologies to
produce imagery for clients and personal projects.
