Rosenborg Slott is a renaissance castle originally built as the royal country's summer home in 1606. It is an example of Christian IV's many architectural projects.It was built in the Dutch renaisannce style typical of Danish buildings during this period.
The castle contains the Crown Jewels and the Danish Crown Regalia.
