In a time of never-ending public scandals, business is equated with corrupt and socially corrosive behavior. This is dangerous as a vast majority of business owners manage their organizations based on high levels of personal integrity. Still the institutionof business is losing legitimacy and it is of utmost importance, from a societal as well as a organizational perspective to understand how business can regain lost legitimacy by focusing on values, virtues and character.
