Welcome to the website of the 23rd EAEVE General Assembly at the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna.

We have a full agenda ahead of us, main topics being the future of veterinary education and medicine as well as the election of the new EAEVE president and Executive Committee members.

Furthermore, we are pleased to announce that Katinka de Balogh from the Agriculture and Consumer Protection Department of the FAO, Jean-Francois Chary, Inspector General of the French Ministry of Agriculture, Kristina Fontel, the President of the International Veterinary Students´ Association and Donal Walsh, Editor of Veterinary Education International (VEI) have agreed to join us as guest speakers.

Two novelties: 8 different working groups and IVSA joint meeting

Two novelties are accompanying this General Assembly – firstly the formation of 8 different working groups, all devoted to a different aspect of "Veterinary Education and Medicine - Current Challenges and Future Visions" and secondly the joint meeting of IVSA, student attendees of which will be joining us in the working groups.

    Vienna at its best

In order to make you familiar with Viennese culture and history, a diversified social program has been organized both for General Assembly attendees as well as their spouses and/or accompanying persons, which will peak in the unique opportunity of attending the Veterinary Ball on Friday night – definitely an event not to be missed!

Looking forward to seeing you all in Vienna!
