The web has created boundless opportunities for new forms of
storytelling by news organizations, brands, bloggers… anyone.
But the forms those stories take still feel like they're lagging
decades behind. In this discussion our panelists will explore the
technological and economic reasons behind the slowness of this
evolution, and why it’s imperative that news organizations push
the boundaries for their survival. They'll talk about the emerging
tools and tactics that will, with enough imagination and drive, create
truly new storytelling forms that take full advantage of digital
media's unique qualities.
This event is co-sponsored by City University of New York.
