Learn how to create digital art using your computer screen as your
canvas and your mouse as your paintbrush. Tools like Adobe
Photoshop, Illustrator, and digital photography will be used to help
you to create your very first digital art pieces right away. The
technology used today will be engaged to express your creative
approach. This course is full of true inspiration and fun! Prior
experience in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is not
necessary. Learn the fundamental concepts in bitmap and
vector art. Identify digital art applications for Adobe
Photoshop and Illustrator. Discover how to correct bitmap
images, apply effects, add text, add black and white, filter effects
to digital photographs and how to save your files in Adobe
Photoshop. Learn how to make selections, add fills, strokes,
colour, and how to save files in Illustrator. Create your
digital art pieces through exploration and experimentation.
Tutor Biography
Aga Grandowicz
Aga Grandowicz has completed her
masters degree studies in fine arts, graphic design and
photography in Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Poland. She has
been working as an Art Director in advertising agency in Dublin
and her animated movies are shown on Polish tv and at film
festivals throughout Europe. Visual artist, graphic designer, film maker and photographer.
She has exhibited her works at many group exhibitions around the world.
