    Cloud Computing (the convergence of virtualization, grid computing, software-as-a-service, and service oriented architectures, all deployed at massive scale) is changing the face of information technology.  Cost, friction, and deployment time for IT infrastrcture are now dramatically lower, and Amazon Web Services (http://aws.amazon.com) is at the forefront of this paradigm shift.  Using AWS’s offerings, institutions and businesses worldwide are realizing previously unheard of levels of operational flexibility, scalability, and cost savings.
