“EXPAND THE OMNI BRAND” to other industries such as
education, food and beverage, real estate and hospitality. With a
client roster that includes the largest privately held dealer group in
the U.S., as well as some of the largest dealerships in more than 35
markets across the country, Omni knows what it takes to move consumers
even in challenging times. Ken is constantly studying, strategizing,
marketing and fueling his passion to dominate the market of every
product he touches. And when most of his peers are satisfied with

has never been satisfied with anything less than double digit growth.

been an active member of their Round Table for the past seven years.

Dr. Lawrence Schimmel is Chairman of the Board,
Professional Bank. Dr. Schimmel saw the consolidation throughout
the South Florida banking industry in 2005 to 2007 as an opportunity
to develop a community bank. Rather than become a retail bank and have
to compete with the larger regional and national competitors, he
adopted a strategy to create a community bank that would deliver
sophisticated banking services with a higher level of customer
service. To this end, all of Professional Bank’s staff is
trained by Ritz Carlton. Dr. Schimmel’s model is scalable, and
with the strategic addition of bankers known throughout our community,
he has built a core of base deposits. Professional Bank’s Board
of Directors and seasoned management team provide a wide range of
expertise that gives the bank an strategic advantage in these tough
economic times.
Dr. Schimmel co-founded Qualmetrix Information Services, LLC, a
medical software development company, in 2005, and has been its
President since its founding. Throughout his career, Dr. Schimmel has
been an entrepreneur in the medical-related business field. In 1992,
he co-founded Allied Health Group and Florida Specialty Networks which
grew into a national medical management business overseeing the
payment of approximately $450 million in health care claims annually.
Dr. Schimmel was the founding Chairman of Megabank and he continued to
serve on the bank's executive committee until just prior to its
acquisition in 1994. Dr. Schimmel served on the Board of Directors of
Executive National Bank until 1997. Dr. Schimmel practiced General and
Vascular Surgery in the Miami community for 17 years. He received his
B.A. from Rutgers College and his M.D. from New Jersey College of Medicine.
Bruce Turkel is an advertising and branding expert who
helps make his clients’ brands more valuable. He has
worked with great companies including Nike, Discovery Channel, HBO,
Baptist Hospital, and the Miami and Puerto Rico Convention and
Visitors Bureaus.
Bruce has spoken at TED, MIT, UM, and Harvard, been heard on NPR,
FOX, and CNN and featured in The New York Times, Fast Company and
Communications Arts Magazines. He has published three books on
advertising and marketing including his latest – Building Brand Value.
Why has he done all this? Bruce says it’s simple:
“I don’t play harmonica that well.”
